Yes, this is certainly one of my favorites on the Archive.

I recently listed to all the Europe '72 shows available here, and this one ranks pretty much at the top. May 3rd in Paris was another: Dr. Flashback, 10-31-06: "A great and somewhat overlooked show. Packed with almost every song they know, 3 discs of solid music. Up tempo and full of energy playing from note one. The Other One> Bobby McGee> Other One sandwich is awe-inspiring." Quite lovely sound quality, and the band was obviously in an energetic, upbeat, tight mood, ready to play. China>Rider and and Tennessee Jed were used on the album.

I must have missed that post, Michael. Had a browse thru your previous posts to no avail. Some of my favourites from Euro '72 are 5.7.72-Bickershaw, 26.4.72-Frankfurt and 4.7.72-Wembley (which I was lucky enough to witness) A dream of mine is to see all the complete shows available here! Totally unrealistic, I know, but 'Nothing happens unless first we dream' - Carl Sandburg.
